About me

Concentration on elegance and efficiency

With my extensive experience in architectural design, I focus on creating innovative, energy-efficient building concepts. My approach centers on developing new forms of architecture, equipped with cutting-edge solar technologies seamlessly integrated into the building's core structure. I emphasize utilizing passive components alongside architectural solutions to integrate solar components, ensuring the building’s energy efficiency without compromising its aesthetic appeal. These advanced geometrical forms are meticulously crafted to minimize energy consumption, offering sustainable solutions for both cold and hot climates. This philosophy ensures that energy efficiency and architectural elegance work in harmony, delivering buildings that are as intelligent as they are striking.

Dr.-Ing. Abbas Rahmani, architect and founder of Evisuell, completed his doctorate with a focus on the impact of geometry on energy efficiency. He was born in 1975 in Qazvin, Iran, and received his high school diploma in Mathematics and Physics from Alameh Amini High School. In 1994, he was admitted to the Architecture program at Shahid Beheshti University and later earned his Master’s degree from Imam Khomeini University of Qazvin in 2003.

He worked for 12 years as an architect in Qazvin and Sanandaj, participating in numerous projects and collaborating with the Engineering Organization. Between 2009 and 2013, he taught various architecture and building design courses at the University of Qazvin, Sanandaj Branch of Azad University, and the University of Kurdistan.

He completed his doctoral research, titled “Determining the Effects of Geometry on Energy Efficiency in Medium-Sized Solar Buildings,” at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany. He has published numerous papers on the application of solar architectural components and the role of architecture in enhancing energy efficiency, presenting his work in countries such as Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. He has also taught and developed solar architectural concepts at KIT while supervising the projects of Erasmus students from various countries.

He completed a professional energy consulting course at the ABB Institute in Hamburg and is currently working as an energy consultant for residential and industrial buildings in Karlsruhe, Germany. In addition, he continues to develop architectural concepts aimed at integrating diverse architectural potentials with the latest solar components.

Hand in hand

A large portion of the methods developed to optimize the geometry of residential buildings as well as the aesthetic values of houses is carried out at KIT in Germany. Parallel to this research, comprehensive support is provided through collaboration with the University of Innsbruck and the Fraunhofer ISE.
